GEORGETOWN - Tasek Gelugor MP Datuk Wan Saiful Wan Jan was advised to mind his own business and focus on his own party's affairs.

DAP Secretary-General Anthony Loke said Wan Saiful should not interfere in DAP's affairs, especially in the matter of candidates who will contest in the state election later.

"Wan Saiful... Is he the DAP secretary-general now? If he is the DAP secretary-general, can he decide on our candidate?

"I don't think it's necessary to take care of people's business; they're busy, they have their own things," he said after witnessing the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Railway Assets Corp and ThinkCity here on Saturday.

Loke said this when commenting on a video clip uploaded by Wan Saiful on his Facebook, which claimed that there were rumors that Bukit Mertajam MP Steven Sim would contest for the State Legislative Assembly seat in Penang in the state election.

The Election Commission (EC) set the state election in six states to be held simultaneously on August 12 as voting day while July 29 as candidate nomination day.
