IPOH - MCA and MIC, the two BN component parties are invited to join Perikatan Nasional (PN) following the decision not to contest in the upcoming elections in six states.

Perak Pas Commissioner Razman Zakaria suggested for both party leaders to hold a discussion with PN leadership.

He said MCA and MIC’s involvement in PN would pull at least 20 to 30 per cent support of their respective races.

“If MCA and MIC felt like they no longer represent the Chinese and Indians, I suggest them to meet with PN leaders to enable it (negotiations).

“We could create a political administration in our nation, creating harmony and avoiding tension among races,” he said in a video posted on Twitter, today.

The one-minute and 26-second video, uploaded at 8pm, features Razman praising the MCA and MIC's resilience, stating that they have outperformed other parties in Pakatan Harapan (PH).

The Perak State Assembly opposition chief said MCA and MIC do not practice extreme politics and could enable PN to rebuild a more peaceful nation.

“They are good, a race party that is not extreme to be together with us because we must hold the principle that Malaysia must be placed in the Muslim majority race.

“If its PH everyone knows they are controlled by DAP. They place the Malays at the front but these Malays make the decisions based on DAP’s agreement,” he said.
