No proper stance since Muda's inception, says PKR activist
SHAH ALAM - Muda has been criticised for not having a clear stance since the party's inception, with accusations that its president, Syed Saddiq, is allegedly a hypocrite.
PKR activist Yuslaini Azmi claimed that apart from using divisive political tactics, Syed Saddiq has appeared ti fail to introduce a fresh political narrative.
“Syed Saddiq had stated his support for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (PKR president) after the Sheraton Move but we have not forgotten the last Pakatan Harapan (PH) meeting audio tapes where he wanted to make Dr Mahathir as prime minister at the time,” she said in a statement, today.
Syed Saddiq had previously alleged that Muda's request to meet with the PH leadership was disregarded, as the coalition secretary-general stated that he had not read Muda's letter.
Recently, the Muar MP made an announcement that Muda would contest solo in the upcoming state elections.
