Johor DAP to support PH, BN candidates during election campaign in Kedah, Terengganu
JOHOR BAHRU - The Johor DAP machinery will help Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) candidates during the election campaign across six states next month with priority in Kedah, Terengganu and Kelantan.
Johor DAP Vice Chairman, Sheikh Umar Bagharib Ali said PH is likely to face challenge against Perikatan Nasional (PN) and believed the candidates have the potential to secure victory if they work hard.
"Focus is on Kedah and Terengganu because we have a chance to form a state government," he said.
"Which means, we are aware that it is not an easy challenge but it is not impossible to do (win and form a government) if the machinery work is organised well," he added.
The Malaysian Pineapple Industry Board (LPNM) Chairman said this in press conference after 2030 Pineapple Industry Development Roadmap workshop, here, today.
Yesterday, the Election Commission (EC) announced that the state elections in Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu, Penang, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan will be held simultaneously on August 12 while the nomination date is on July 29 and early voting is on August 8.
He said PH is likely to win in Negeri Sembilan, Selangor and Penang.
