Meghan Trainor welcomes second child, a baby boy

Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor and her husband, Daryl Sabara welcomed their second child, a baby boy.

Trainor took her Instagram to announce the happy news, by sharing adorable photos of her newborn.

The couple named their baby boy 'Barry Bruce Trainor'.

"On July, 1 (our 7-year anniversary of our first date) we welcomed Barry Bruce Trainor into the world," Trainor captioned in her post, adding details about the newborn's weight at birth and the birth experience they had.

"He was a big boy at 8lbs 7oz and sideways (transverse), but we had an amazing, successful c-section and I finally got my skin-to-skin time," she posted.

Trainor expressed her gratitude towards the medical team who made a smooth birthing process.

"Thank you to all of the incredible doctors and nurses who took such great care of us," she said.

The announcement post garnered 1 million likes with tons of celebratory comments flooding in.

American Actress Ashley Benson commented "Congrats angel".

Meanwhile, American singer Mandy Moore commented "Go Mama. And welcome to the party, Barry. What a lucky dude."

The singer announced that she was pregnant in January, sharing some photos on Instagram with the caption 'Baby #2 coming this summer'.

The couple has a son, Riley, who was born in February 2021.
