MYAirline celebrates flying more than 1 milion passengers
Malaysia’s new airline, MYAirline is celebrated its achievement of flying more than 1,000,000 passengers.
MYAirline has flown over a million passengers across nine domestic routes in Malaysia in just a little more than six months of operation.
This was celebrated recently in Terminal 2 of Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 3pm with the passengers on flight Z98104, en route from Kuching to Kuala Lumpur.
All passengers on that flight were met at the baggage claim area; got wonderful boxes of gifts, which included cash coupons sponsored by Plaza Premium Lounge and a unique MYAirline product assortment.
To add more excitement, ten fortunate passengers were given round-trip tickets to popular locations within Malaysia.
A passenger, Beatrice Lim 33, was excited to receive a free return flight from Kuala Lumpur to Tawau from MYAirline.
"I am so happy and so excited to receive this surprise. Thank you so much, MYAirline for giving me this surprise," Beatrice, who is based in Subang Jaya, told Sinar Daily.
She also praised MYAirline for giving her and her partner the best experience on their journey from Kuching to Kuala Lumpur.
"Actually, we went to Kuching to attend an event. Throughout the journey with MYAirline, everything went smoothly.
"Besides, the airplane was on time, so it’ was an easy journey for us. We will definitely repeat MYAirline for our upcoming journey!", she expressed with a smile on her face.
Since its inaugural flight on Dec 1 last year, MYAirline has connected Kuala Lumpur to various popular destinations in Malaysia, such as Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Kota Bharu, Langkawi, Penang, Sibu, Tawau, Miri, and an inter-city route linking Kota Kinabalu and Tawau.
MYAirline chief executive officer, Rayner Teo said that his company was excited to celebrate this incredible accomplishment of surpassing one million passengers after six months since their first flight launch.
"This success would not have been possible without the continuous support and trust of our valued passengers.
"This celebration is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire MYAirline family, who have consistently ensured excellent on-time performance and delivered top-notch services," he told media members.
Teo further remarked that MYAirline has grown its fleet to an amazing eight aircraft from its initial fleet of just three.
In fact, he further added that MYAirline also had a big dream, targeting to have 20 aircraft this year.
When reflecting on its history since its founding, he also expressed his gratitude for the success the company has had.
"The accomplishment demonstrates our commitment to being the most dependable airline in Malaysia," he added.
