Politically Frank: Adam Adli to focus on youth power this state elections
SHAH ALAM - PKR Youth Chief Adam Adli has announced that he will not be contesting in the upcoming state elections but will play a crucial role in mobilising youths.
Adam, who hails from Penang said he intends to reach out to young voters by visiting all six states in a hope to reach out as many youths as possible.
"My role is still to go from state to state to make sure Youth wings are satisfied with all levels and of course, I will do my best to approach the young voters," he told Sinar Daily’s Politically Frank.
Penang, Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan are scheduled to hold elections in August. Their respective Menteri Besars or Chief Ministers had decided not to dissolve the state assemblies and conduct the elections concurrently with the 15th General Election that took place last November.
He, who is also Deputy Youth and Sports Minister, when asked how he feels about being in the ministry for seven months, expressed that he still has a lot of things to learn.
"I think that I’m still learning; there's still a lot to learn. I wish that we could have done more within this time, but we are doing our best by putting all of our efforts into it," he said.
When questioned about the worst thing that has been said about him, the Hang Tuah Jaya MP said he was not entirely aware of any specific negative claims or criticisms directed towards him.
