SHAH ALAM - The man who went viral over a post he made on Twitter praying for the death of Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang has apologised for making such comment.

Twitter user Zaki Yamani had issued the public apology to Hadi's wife and family.

"Taking into account what Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said and views from my friends, I apologise to Hadi's wife and family if my comment had hurt their feelings," he tweeted today.

On Saturday, Zaki Yamani wrote a rude comment regarding the latest news on Hadi's health condition and that of former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Anwar yesterday expressed disappointment over the action of the social media user on Hadi's deteriorating health.

In a tweet, Anwar asked Zaki Yamani to apologise over the comment.
