Police sergeant found dead at Rembau IPD

REMBAU - A police sergeant was found dead with a gunshot wound on his head at the Rembau District Police Headquarters, yesterday.

Negeri Sembilan police chief Datuk Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof said the 58-year-old victim was found at 6.30pm inside a room at the Criminal Investigation Division.

"The victim's remains was sent to the Tuanku Jaafar Hospital, Seremban for post-mortem. The case was classified as sudden death.

"However, further investigation is still ongoing and the public is asked not to make any statement that could interfere with the investigation and to respect the deceased's family," he said.
