Anwar asks Zaki Yamani to apologise over comment on Hadi's health
KUALA LUMPUR - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is disappointed with the action of a social media user who left a rude comment regarding the deteriorating health of Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang.
Anwar in a tweet asked Zaki Yamani to apologise for posting such comments.
"I strongly disagree and feel disappointed over Zaki Yamani's rude behaviour and I ask him to apologise immediately," Anwar wrote.
Previously, the Twitter user posted a rude statement regarding the latest news on Hadi's health condition and that of former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
It was reported that Hadi's health was deteriorating and he was admitted to the hospital to receive further treatment.
The Pas president's son Muhammad Khalil shared the news on his Facebook page yesterday.
"Please pray for my father's recovery. His health deteriorated slightly before Aidiladha, and he is now receiving further treatment and being monitored by doctors at the hospital," he said. - AWANI
