SHAH ALAM - A commotion unfolded at the arrival station of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) as an individual, reportedly a minister, attempted to intervene in the case of a Chinese national who was detained on Thursday.

According to sources, the Chinese national was arrested by authorities upon entering the country.

The minister, trusting the individual's credibility, entered the arrival station without obtaining the necessary entry pass.

Tensions escalated when the KLIA authorities refused to allow the minister to intervene in the situation involving the Chinese national.

When contacted, KLIA district police chief Assistant Commissioner Imran Abd Rahman confirmed that no official reports had been received regarding the incident.

"So far no reports were received," he said.
