ALOR SETAR - Perikatan Nasional (PN) election director Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor claims that Pakatan Harapan (PH) did not get the support of youths and instead, the support is given to PN.

This, he said was the reason why Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim went to universities to attract young voters to support PH.

"If there are a lot of youths in PH, why is there a need to attract more?. Until he abandoned his work as the Finance Minister, as the PM and was busy giving talks everywhere,” he said when met after the official vehicle handing over ceremony by the state government exco at Wisma Darul Aman, today.

He said this has caused the country’s economic situation to be uncertain as Anwar did not carry out his responsibilities well as Prime Minister and Finance Minister.

“It has caused the situation of the country to be all over the place, the currency plummeted, investors did not come in, all of that was due to the failure of the Prime Minister and Finance Minister," he said.

Meanwhile, Sanusi said the decision of the Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) to run solo in the upcoming state election proved that the party's cooperation with PH was in a shambles for so long.

However, he said he did not want to intervene in others’ affairs.

On Monday, Muda stated that it will be contesting solo in the upcoming elections in all six states involved.
