My son in iron cage? A father questions after photos go viral
SHAH ALAM - A photo of a standard one student being locked up in a cage is making its way around social media and has gone viral.
Social media users have expressed their anger and frustration over the matter.
Taking to Twitter, Azuan Abd Ghafar revealed a screenshot of a conversation on Whatsapp.
The conversation revolved around the father questioning the action of a teacher who isolated his son and locked him up in a cage.
"Why would you lock up a standard one boy in a cage? The room is equiped with a TNB box, what if he plays with it and something happens?
"No matter what, the teacher should not take such action," he said while insisting on meeting up the responsible teacher and the school principle.
In a screenshot twitter thread, it is believed a male teacher had confessed to the act as he revealed that the child was diffcult to control.
Allegedly the child was said to be disruptive in class and was distracting his friends in lessons.
The father also expressed his utmost dissapointment where such actions could damage the motivation and emotions of his son who just started school session.
Many Twitter users have expressed their anger and have urged the authorities to take a strict action against the school and the teacher.
A Twitter user @norihasni said "Nothing can justify ocking people like this. Strict action must be taken," she said.
Meanwhile another user @chittaxiau urged the police department to probe the teacher on this issue.
"PDRM, please investigate the teacher's detention of on first grade students. Arrest the teacher and lock hi, in jail. This kind of teacher's behaviour is extreme," the user said.
