SHAH ALAM - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has been advised to take a break from external activities in order to focus on his core duties.

Bachok MP, Mohd Syahir Che Sulaiman, said that all activities that cause fatigue, exhaustion, and distractions for the Prime Minister should be reduced to ensure that he can fully concentrate on his essential tasks.

"At times, the Prime Minister is seen boarding planes, at times travelling in cars, and sometimes having to rush and run. However, if observed from an optical perspective, the Prime Minister appears slightly fatigued, his energy is not as it used to be, and his attention is easily distracted.

"These signs indicate that the Prime Minister's condition is somewhat disturbed," he said in a Facebook post on Monday.

He further stressed that everyone is currently awaiting the Prime Minister's resolution for the country's economy.

"In the uncertain situation of the ringgit and the economy, everyone is eagerly waiting for what intervention measures Anwar, who also serves as the Finance Minister, will announce on Monday, June 19, as promised by the Deputy Finance Minister on Sunday, June 18.

"However, the anticipated announcement has yet to come, and that day has passed without any drastic measures taken to restore the ringgit and the economy, until today," he added.

Mohd Syahir pointed out the alleged attention-grabbing behavior of the Tambun MP, who danced with students and jokingly asked a student for their phone number during recent programmes.

"It would be good to reduce the Prime Minister's external activities a bit in the days leading up to Hari Raya Aidiladha, and instead, dedicate more time to the Finance Ministry and Prime Minister's desk to delve into the 1001 documents that surely await.

"Also, in conjunction with Wuquf Day on the 9th of Zulhijah, it would be excellent if the Prime Minister could temporarily postpone all activities, seize the opportunity to observe a day of fasting, engage in contemplation and remembrance, seeking forgiveness and guidance from the Divine.

"May Allah protect beloved Malaysia," he added.
