Defend PN to continue The Greater Kedah aspirations - Sanusi

ALOR SETAR - To continue the planned programme to realise The Greater Kedah, the Kedah State Government led by Perikatan Nasional (PN) must be defended in the state election.
Its Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor stated that the state administration will need at least ten years to make this matter a success in order to elevate Kedah to the status of a developed state.
According to him, Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) are both intent on capturing Kedah in the forthcoming state election.
"Let us work hard, to ensure that our fortress is protected.
" Our stronghold is always strong and unbroken wherever we go, therefore no one can threaten our position in Kedah.
"Indeed, they (PH-BN) are fully focused, more focused on seizing this state because they already know how great its history is and how great it can go in the future."
"We have so many programmes for the benefit of the state and the people, we will ensure that these programmes are implemented seriously; we don't need 20 to 30 years; at the very least, we just need 10 years to resurrect The Greater Kedah," he stated on Saturday night.
He made the remarks during the Kedah Berselawat Berbusana Gathering, which drew roughly 15,000 people to the Darul Aman Stadium near here.
Sanusi, who is also the Jeneri State Assemblyman , stated that the people should work together to assist in realising the aspirations of The Greater Kedah.
He urged the poeple of Kedah to not to be swayed by the PH-BN's 'Kalih Bagi Sama' campaign, which claims that the state and federal governments are equal and that justice will be served.
"We will rise once more to restore Kedah Darul Aman as the greatest government in this region."
"In order to achieve our great ambitions, (there must be) endurance, seriousness, dedication, enthusiasm, intelligence, courage, and eloquence," he said
He added that he could not avoid talking about the state elections as Kedah was currrently being targeted by his opponents.
