State polls: PN's victory can change nation's political landscape
SHAH ALAM - The victories of Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidates in Selangor and other states for the upcoming state polls are seen as capable of changing the nation's political landscape.
Selangor Pas Commissioner Datuk Dr Ahmad Yusuf Hairi said PN candidates in the state would contest for all the Selangor state seats in the upcoming election.
“PN’s victory in Selangor would change the political landscape at the central level and I counted the political seats, the government seats in the states would change as well, insya-Allah,” he said in the 2023 Selangor PN Election Convention in the Ideal Convention Centre at Section 15 here on Saturday.
Also present was Selangor PN chairman Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.
He commented on the Selangor election and said that all seats in the election would be contested by candidates from the coalition by using the PN logo.
“We will place candidates on all Selangor seats, our candidates are PN candidates and insya-Allah we will win as PN and the PN government,” he said.
PN chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin previously said the four states, namely Penang, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Kedah would use the coalition logo for the state polls as had been done in the previous general election (GE).
Pas secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan said Kelantan and Terengganu would have the Pas logo used in the state polls.
