A video of student assaulted by schoolmates goes viral

SHAH ALAM - A student was allegedly assaulted by his schoolmates in a video that went viral on social media on Thursday.
In the 45-second video posted by Twitter user @jnmalaysia, a student clad in school sports attire was seen being beaten up by several students.
The victim attempted to defend himself, but the attackers outnumbered him.
The video also showed that there were other students who watched and cheered the act of bullying.
@jnmalaysia said, based on information, the incident was believed to have taken place in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak.
The video has garnered over 66,000 views at the time of writing.
Meanwhile, social media users urged the authorities to take action against the students involved in the assault.
@serumidea said, "Put them all in jail. Look at how these boys have no future, are useless, and are not of use to future generations.
@sayyidsafari also agreed and said, "These kids have no future; put them in jail." @thefazone said, "Incredibly heartbreaking, sigh."
