SHAH ALAM - Selangor Pakatan Harapan (PH) does not look down on Perikatan Nasional's (PN) effort to win the state in the state election soon.

Selangor PH chairman who is also the Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said so despite his confidence that the state was the coalition's stronghold.

"That is their strategy, but during the 15th General Election (GE15) we faced Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali (Selangor PN leader). However, with our strength, we (PH) won the majority with 16 seats in Selangor.

"I believe in the PH stronghold in Selangor, but we should not look down on their (PN) efforts from time to time.

"We must increase our efforts physically and on social media," he said during a special press conference on the Selangor government administration, today.

He was commenting on PN chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's statement stating that he has placed the onus on Azmin to deliver victory at the coming state elections.

Amiruddin said he was confident that PH could maintain the two thirds majority position in Selangor for the election due to the administration's performance within the five years.

"With the correct strategy, it is possible for us to achieve a bigger victory compared to GE14 in 2018," he said.
