Rospiagos named DG of Road Transport Department
PUTRAJAYA - Rospiagos Taha has assumed the role of the new Director-General of the Road Transport Department (RTD), effective immediately, following the vacancy left by Datuk Zailani Hashim.
Zailani, who previously held the position, has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Plantation and Commodities Ministry.
The official appointment was bestowed upon Rospiagos Taha by the Director-General of the Civil Service, Datuk Zulkapli Mohamed.
In addition to Rospiagos Taha, three other officers were also appointed to new positions.
They include Datuk Che Roslan Che Daud, who assumed the role of Director-General of the National Unity and Integration Department; Nor Mazny Abdul Majid, who was appointed as the Director of the Research, Planning, and Policy Division in the Public Service Department (PSD); and Sal Atan, who became the director of Sultanah Aminah Hospital in Johor.
During the announcement, Zulkapli reminded the officers to uphold the wishes of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
These wishes emphasised the importance of implementing good governance, maintaining high integrity, and displaying good morals and courtesy, all of which align with the aspirations of Malaysia Madani.
