MELAKA - Duyong Assemblyman Mohd Noor Helmy Abdul Halem has confirmed that no complaints were received regarding the issue of dirty water faced by residents of Taman Seri Duyong Dua.

According to him, the Village Development and Safety Committee (JPKK) of the area, in collaboration with the Air Melaka Berhad Company (SAMB), investigated a water quality unit and identified the specific house involved.

"After inspecting both homes, it was determined that the water was clean and met the Health Ministry's standards. Based on these findings, I can confidently say that the case is considered resolved," he said in a statement today.

On Sunday, Sinar reported that residents of Taman Seri Duyong Dua had been experiencing cloudy water for the past month.

A resident, Gan Lee Gee, initially believed the issue would be temporary, but it has persisted.
