Mizz Nina ties the knot with Seattle-based performing artist, songwriter Essan Muhammad
SHAH ALAM - Local celebrity Shazrina Azman known as Mizz Nina has tied the knot with a Seattle-based performing artist and songwriter Essan Muhammad in a private setting with family and close friends.
Mizz Nina officially took to Instagram today to make the announcement.
“Allah is the best of planner and has written this chapter of our lives so beautifully and Alhamdulillah with the blessings of our parents, we have both been able to complete the other half of each other.
“We have both dedicated our lives to da’wah, we share the same goals, and aspirations and are excited for this new chapter in our lives,” she wrote in her post.
She said the sole purpose of their work was rooted in their faith.
“We understand that marriage is about growing love, finding tranquility and having mercy and that the ultimate intention should always be seeking the pleasure of Allah so that we can walk through the doors of Jannah together.
“We will have a private wedding reception soon in Kuala Lumpur,” she wrote in her post.
Earlier this year Mizz Nina, Noh Salleh divorce after 11 years of marriage.
Noh was revently engaged with a lawyer and belived to be married on September 23.
Meanwhile, Essan took on a prominent role in the feature film "Purple Don't Cry." Directed by Mamoun Hassan and written by Boonaa Mohammed, the film had its premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) on June 1.
