Ducati rider loses life while evading oncoming biker at MRR2 flyover
SHAH ALAM - A man died after being thrown from his motorcycle before falling from a flyover on Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (SUKE) while heading towards Lingakaran Tengah 2 Expressway (MRR2) today.
The rider, in a Facebook clip uploaded by user Akid Basarom, was attempting to evade an oncoming motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction but unfortunately lost control and slipped, falling off the flyover.
The case is currently under investigation and it is understood that a media statement will be issued by Deputy Ampang Jaya District Police Chief Mohd Azam Ismail soon.
Videos and photos of the accident has been circulating in social media.
Facebook user Bonet Merah said: "This is called selfishness, someone who doesn't consider others. Now, a life has been lost just for someone's advantage."
On the other hand, another user named Ilya Aqila expressed her condolences to the victim's family.
Muhammad Fadhil said "Omg, the victim fell from a high flyover. The person who drove wrongway deserves a death penalty," he said.
