National women's futsal player Intan Serah signs with NYDLFC
SHAH ALAM - National women's futsal player Intan Serah Anisah Zulgafli, 24 signs with the New York Dutch Lions FC (NYDLFC) for the latest World Premier Soccer League (WPSL) season in the United States.
The news was announced on the Instagram page of NYDLFC and was also confirmed by her sports agency Living Minds.
"The forward was a bit delayed because of the visa that she needed from the embassy but now that, that is all sorted out she is able to start her journey with us.
“Welcome to New York and we are excited to have you Intan!” wrote NYDLFC.
Meanwhile, Living Minds said by starting her professional career in futsal, Intan has honed her ball-playing skills, becoming captain of the Women's National Futsal Team.
"With all the experience she has gained in futsal, it has helped her build her fundamentals in football as well, thus bringing this amazing opportunity to her," wrote Living Minds.
Fans and followers alike, including Malaysian songstress Yuna congratulated Intan and sent their best wishes in the comments section of NYDLFC's post.
Previously, Intan captained the national women's futsal team at the 2021 SEA Games, where the team brought home a bronze medal.
Besides that, Intan was also involved in acting and modeling.
