Annuar Musa, Eizlan Yusof will have a 'big impact' on Pas

KOTA BHARU - The presence of Muafakat Nasional president Tan Sri Annuar Musa and actor Eizlan Yusof is expected to bring about a favourable influence on Pas.

Central Pas vice president Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah said the party has yet to discuss the potential involvement of both individuals in contesting the upcoming Kelantan state polls.

However, he said there was a big impact following the two joining Pas as more members from other parties are expected to join the party.

"We don't know the additional members from yesterday's ceramah but there is a growing support for Perikatan Nasional (PN)," he said.

He said this after attending a tahfiz graduation ceremony, here, today.

A total of 326 students from 10 tahfiz schools received their certificate in the ceremony officiated by Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob.

When asked about the political attacks by opposing parties ahead of state polls, Amar, the deputy Kelantan Menteri Besar said the attacks were specifically targeting voters residing outside of Kelantan, with the intention of discouraging their support for PN.

"It's normal, they want to fight, they attack us, after this we attack back. We will take the wait-and-see approach before we pull our ammunition out.

"Kelantan voters have already proven they accepted us for over 33 years," he said.
