Solidarity gathering demonstrates support for Sanusi - Kedah Pas

SUNGAI PETANI - The Youth wing of Pas and Perikatan Nasional (PN) in the Kedah have expressed their stance and unwavering support for their Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor.

Kedah Pas Youth chief Nasron Othman said a gathering in support of Sanusi was organised to demonstrate support for the leadership led by the PN director of election affairs.

He said the gathering was attended by about 700 participants who convoyed from Pinang Tunggal, crossing all the parliamentary constituencies of Sungai Petani, before concluding at the Keladi Park public park.

"The purpose of this solidarity gathering is to show support for the Kedah MB, and we hope that PN will continue to be trusted to lead this state after the state polls," he said.

Nasron said this while launching the PN Youth election machinery and the Santai Anak Muda (Samudera) of the Sungai Petani Parliamentary constituency, near here, on Sunday.

In a related matter, Nasron also stated that the unexpected presence of supporters demonstrated the wave of young people who consistently support PN.

He acknowledged that this wave could not only be seen in Kedah but also other states.

"We (PN) believe that PN will retain the Pantai Merdeka and Sidam State Legislative Assembly seats. We will also reclaim the Bakar Arang State Legislative Assembly seat in the upcoming state election," he said.
