GOMBAK - Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari will announce the latest update on Pakatan Harapan (PH)-Barisan Nasional (BN) seat allocation for Selangor in the upcoming state election by next Thursday or Friday.

Amirudin said an announcement will be made if he receives the green light from the central leadership.

"I can only announce the latest update after next Thursday or Friday. And only if I am given permission to do so.

"I believe the party's leadership needs to finalise (seat allocation), and I am not in any position to make that decision," he said when asked about updates on PH-BN Selangor's seat allocation.

He was met by reporters after officiating the Selangor National Youth Day Celebration at the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) here today.

Last Friday, Amirudin said there were only three seats not decided as of now from the negotiation between PH and BN in Selangor.

He, however, refused to reveal the remaining three out of the 56 seats that were still under negotiation.

"The coalition has completed 90 per cent of the seat allocation process; there are only three seats left. I believe it can be completed within a month.
