Pas still fails to ‘clean up’ rusty water in Kelantan, says Zahid
KUALA LUMPUR - After 33 years of being the state government, Pas has still failed to ‘clean up’ the rusty water in Kelantan.
Umno president Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi, in his policy speech at the 2023 Umno general assembly (PAU) remarked that the water issue in Kelantan seems to have never been resolved.
"After thirty-three years of being the government in the state and their representative once being the Environment and Water Minister (Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man), the rusty water still fails to be ‘cleaned up’. The rust of the water is the same as the rust in their hearts," Zahid said.
Zahid also urged the Kelantan, Kedah, and Terengganu youths to think wisely about the fate of their parents and not let them face the difficulties of life continuously by voting in the upcoming state elections (PRN).
"This is the time for them to work together with the government of Madani Malaysia. Allah’s provisions give us the opportunity to make changes. This state elections is being carried out in the context of a stable federal government that had already been formed.
Use the opportunity of these state elections to ensure that all these states form a government that goes hand in hand with the federal government. In Sha Allah, we will be able to bring the states concerned together, make changes, and make the lives of the people full of prosperity." he said in his speech at the party headquarters in Dewan Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur World Trade Centre (WTC) here today,
Also present in the Merdeka Hall were Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who is also PKR president; DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke; and Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) senior vice-president, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof
