Datuk Siti Nurhaliza will soon get to realise her dream of sharing the stage with renowned music producer David Foster once again, having been invited to perform at the David Foster & Friends Ais 2023 concert this Aug 7.

It was nine years ago when the “Percayalah” singer and Foster collaborated for a special performance for the "Sapurakencana Petroleum Malaysia Grand Prix Gala Dinner & Concert 2014".

She was also invited to perform with him in Indonesia several times after that but it was not meant to be.

“This is an opportunity not to be missed because even with the emergence of many young, talented singers out there, Foster’s management still chose me,” she said at a press conference.

The popular songstress shared that it was the late composer, Datuk Adnan Abu Hassan who introduced her to Foster.

Siti shared how she felt “small” after looking at the list of international performers who will join Foster on stage at the concert as well.

“Standing on the same stage as Foster is every artist's goal. Even though I'm 44 years old and have only previously been well-known in Asia, I still think it's not too late for me to gain recognition on a global scale.

“We come from different backgrounds, but music brings us together,” added the mother of two.
