'Leave MH370 out of your humourless depressive comic' wife of missing crew tells S'porean comedian

SHAH ALAM - Intan Maizura Othman, the wife of one of MH370 crew member has expressed disappointment towards a Singaporean comedian who took to stage to insult Malaysia with MH370.

The wife of Mohd Hazrin Mohamed Hasnan wrote “Leave MH370 out of your humourless depression comic."

Intan Maizura Othaman, the wife of one of the crew members of MH370 has expressed anger towards a Singaporean comedian who insulted Malaysia with references to MH370 during a performance.

The wife of Mohd Hazrin Mohamed Hasnan in her Facebook wrote:"Leave MH370 out of your humourless depression comic."

She was referring to Singaporean comedian, Jocelyn Chia for insulting Malaysia with MH370.

Chia at Comedy Cellar in Manhattan, New York insult Malaysia’s economic development and the tragic disappearance of MH370 which caught the attention of many Malaysians especially Intan.

"When you attend a show that features unfunny comedian, this is what you get to take distasteful cheap shots using controversial issues to gain quick popularity.

“Remember people, inferiority and insecurity can sometimes turn people into this ugly self-loathing persona and manifest itself as an awkward and heartless or maybe brainless comic,” she claimed.

She said Chia material is insensitive and offensive to a lot of people.

Chia opened her routine by sharing the history of Singapore to the audience.

“After we gained independence from the British we were a struggling as little nation and in order to survive we formed a union with a larger and more powerful country, Malaysia,” she said.

After making the statement, she asked one of the audience members about their origin and upon learning that the person was from Malaysia, she responded by saying, "F--k you a--holes."

"Singapore became a first world country, whereas Malaysia is still a developing country. Malaysia, what are you now, still a developing country? F--k you, Malaysia."

“Isn’t that the best breakup revenge,” she said.

She also said Malaysian planes cannot fly and Malaysian airlines going missing is not funny.
