Bank Rakyat offers personal Financing i-Private for professionals

Bank Rakyat is offering private (exclusive) personal financing to professionals from the private sector with a financing amount of up to RM400,000 through a competitive financing rate as low as 3.2 per cent annum.

Professionals with a minimum salary of RM5,000 or more for permanent positions and RM8,000 or more for contract roles are eligible to apply for this financing, which has a term of up to ten years.

Bank Rakyat further added that the private sector and GLCs play an important role in developing and maintaining the country's socioeconomic progress, including in the development of inclusive business models that encourage the involvement of micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the country's supply chain.

In a statement, Bank Rakyat remarked that customers who subscribe to this financing product from May 15 to Oct 31 2023 also have the chance to win a total prize of RM150,000 in the form of HABIB Jewels vouchers from which a total of five lucky winners will be selected every month throughout the campaign.

"Thus, Bank Rakyat's proactive step in providing Personal Financing products specifically for employees in this sector coincides with the pillars of creativity, well-being and sustainability under the values of Madani Malaysia which is expected to drive various Government initiatives through the 2023 Budget," it said in a statement.

For Personal Financing-i, Bank Rakyat also offers Shariah-compliant retail financing products including Vehicle Financing-i, Housing Financing-i and Mortgage Tax Financing-i as well as business financing such as Micro-i Financing and Small and Medium Enterprises.
