State polls: Referendum of people's voice on govt's performance - Hamzah
SHAH ALAM - The upcoming state elections, which will be held in six states, will not only determine the state government.
Opposition leader Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin says that it will be a people's voice referendum on the Unity Government's poor achievements under the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The Larut parliamentarian also said the people's support remains strong for Perikatan Nasional (PN).
"Our election machines are almost ready. Starting with Sungai Besar, Tanjung Karang, and Sabak Bernam, PN's dialogue sessions and tour to every corner of the states involved in the polls.
"Insya-Allah, we will prove that Perikan Nasional is the best," he said in a Facebook post on Saturday.
Penang, Selangor, Negri Sembilan, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu are due to hold their state elections in the second half of this year.
