SHAH ALAM - Former education minister Datuk Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin hopes that former health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah could continue to contribute to the country.

The Putrajaya MP said this as he shared his experience holding the portfolio during Covid-19 pandemic on Facebook today.

"My Facebook memory shared a video that was posted three years ago today that was quite nostalgic.

"They were snippets from my visit with Dr Noor Hisham and former National Security Council (NSC) director-general Datuk Rabin Basir to review preparations to re-open schools for the first time after the Movement Control Order (MCO).

"Back then, none of us had experience managing school sessions during a pandemic like the Covid-19 pandemic," he said.

He expressed how lucky he was to have a committed team at the Education Ministry handling the matter.

Radzi added that discussions between the Health Ministry and the National Security Council were often held to ensure students could return to school safely.

"Coincidentally, this afternoon I attended an event in Putrajaya and was blessed to meet with Dr Noor Hisham.
