SHAH ALAM - Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry is considering a proposal to set up Menu Rahmah in private colleges.

Its Minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub said it is the government's desire to assist as many people as possible to reduce their burden on the cost of living.

"Give me time to engage with the relevant parties to establish the Menu Rahmah (at IPTS)," he said.

He said during the People's Town Hall Programme held at the Karangkraf Media Complex tonight.

Salahuddin was the fourth guest in the programme hosted by Azhar Sulaiman.

Previous sessions of the People's Town Hall featured Communications and Digital Economy Minister Fahmi Fadzil, Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook and Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
