'Peja is only a comedian, the giant killer in politics is Anwar Ibrahim' - PKR deputy info chief

SHAH ALAM - Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) deputy information chief Razeef Rakimin has criticised the statement made by Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) deputy president Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu who said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim can only be a giant killer in Tambun once.

He said Faizal's statement aimed at telling the public that he was a giant in the country's political field but in reality the real giant was Anwar.

Razeef claimed that Faizal was only a comedian and the position he held previously in the administration was only due to courtesy of his associates.

"For example, he was only given the Perak Menteri Besar post as courtesy from his allies as his party only won one seat in the 14th General Election (GE14) together with Pakatan Harapan (PH).

"After betraying PH, he was thrown out by his new ally then which was Umno.

"Later he was appointed as the special advisor to the prime minister courtesy of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin before losing the position and could only review "Mi Kari Putrajaya" (curry noodles)," he said in a statement today.

Yesterday, it was reported that Faizal said Anwar will not compete in Tambun because the PH chairman will lose and could only be a giant killer once.

Razeef also questioned Faizal's credibility as a "self-proclaimed giant" in Bersatu.

"If this is the level of the 'giant' in Bersatu then I am not suprised why Pas today has started to trample on Bersatu, which is seen as a liability to Pas in facing the upcoming state election," he added.
