SHAH ALAM - Farm in the City (FITC) announces the addition of four new animal species to its park, creating even more opportunities for visitors to experience the wonders of wildlife up close.

The newly introduced species include the Nilgai, Pygmy Buffalo, Punganur, and Pygmy Donkey, each with its own unique characteristics and contributions to the diverse animal collection at FITC.

The Nilgai, also known as the blue bull, hails from the grasslands of India and Nepal.

With its striking appearance and majestic presence, the Nilgai is sure to captivate visitors as they observe its graceful movements.

The Pygmy Buffalo, a miniature version of its African relative, will melt hearts with its adorable size and gentle nature.

The Punganur, a small cow breed native to India, boasts distinctive features that make it a delightful addition to the farm.

Lastly, the Pygmy Donkey adds an extra touch of charm with its miniature stature and playful personality.

FITC founder Datuk Allan Phoon said the additional species aimed to broaden its visitors’ understanding of the animals and their roles.

From May 27 to June 4, visitors could immerse themselves in the enchanting world of FITC and create memories with their loved ones.

“It’s an ideal time to explore the new animal exhibits, engage in hands-on activities, and witness the beauty of nature together,” the statement read.

FITC said that it was dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of its visitors with enhanced health and safety measures in place, including regular sanitisation, limited capacity, and social distancing protocols.

Visitors are assured that they could enjoy peace of mind while they indulged in an immersive and educational experience.
