Perak government still strong with support of 32 assemblymen - Saarani

IPOH - The Perak state government led by Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad is still strong with the majority support of 32 assemblymen.
The matter was stated by Saarani in a special press conference here on Monday, thus rejecting the state opposition leader's claim that there is a movement to overthrow the Perak Unity Government.
Saarani who is also state BN chairman said opposition leader Razman Zakaria's claim that that there were supposedly some government assemblymen who met him was just meant to create a negative perception.
"Me and my exco colleagues and also the line up of assemblymen have unanimously expressed our commitment in supporting stability in the government while rejecting efforts to topple the existing government," he said.
