State Elections: Sany not defending Taman Templer state seat
KUALA LUMPUR - Taman Templer Assemblyman Mohd Sany Hamzan has decided not to contest his seat in the upcoming State Elections.
Sany said that this decision was made as a sign of respect for the directives issued by Amanah which impose restrictions on members contesting in multiple seats.
Speaking to reporters at the Taman Templer State Assembly and Selayang Parliament Open House Ceremony held at Dataran Ilmu Bandar Baru Selayang, Sany expressed his sadness about leaving Taman Templer.
He said there are residents whom he considers as family, but he hopes and prays that his successor will be able to serve the constituency even better.
Sany also expressed his hope that the replacement for the Templer state seat would be capable of fulfilling their responsibilities and effectively representing the voice of the people in the state assembly.
By not contesting for the Templer state seat, Sany said that he would be able to concentrate on his significant responsibilities in the Hulu Langat Parliament.
His primary focus would be on addressing infrastructure, development, and other issues to provide assistance and solutions.
