'We work in the spirit of BN,' says Zambry
SHAH ALAM - "We work in the spirit of Barisan Nasional (BN), so there is no question that MCA or MIC will not be given seats," says the BN secretary-general.
Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir said the discussion was attended by leaders from our own component parties, and this is what makes us unique.
"We will continue to work together and reach an agreement among ourselves before discussing with Pakatan Harapan (PH)," he said when asked if MCA would be given seats to compete in the six state elections.
However, MCA President Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong said there is no list of candidates or seats finalised by MCA so far to contest in the six state elections, FMT reported.
Wee said that he has nothing to say for now.
"I was not called, and I have not attended any meetings so far," he said, as FMT reported.
