BN, PH at final stages of seat negotiations - Zahid

KUALA SELANGOR - Barisan Nasional (BN) is in the final stages of completing the seat allocation negotiation with Pakatan Harapan (PH) for the upcoming state election in the six states.

BN chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the process of seat allocation is expected to be concluded soon.

"We are almost done in finalising the seat allocation. We will present the list of candidates next," he said briefly when met at Majlis Riang Raya MPP UiTM in Dewan Berlian, UiTM Puncak Alam, here, today.

When asked to comment on the RM10,000 allocation to all Student Representative Councils (MPP) at UiTM campuses nationwide, Zahid said every MP at UiTM campuses will receive the allocation in the near future.

He said every MPP need to implement various programme according to the guidelines set.

"Among the activities that can organised are solving the students' problems, especially for the less able students besides and holding motivational programme during semester break and visiting rural areas to help (attract) youth to sign up for higher education.

"If the programmes are successfully implemented and they follow the guidelines set then I will add another RM10,000 by the end of this year," he said.
