KUALA LUMPUR - Barisan Nasional (BN) Youth chief Muhammad Akmal Saleh is calling on the youth to move beyond extremism and focus on building a better nation.

In his speech at the Unity Government National Youth Convention held at the World Trade Center today, he said there is a need for youths to value and embrace the differences within each party in the Unity Government.

Akmal said the people, especially youths, are weary of political agendas and economic issues plaguing the nation and urged youths to create a new political history and shift their focus towards nation-building.

DAP Youth Chief, Dr. Kelvin Yii, echoed Akmal's sentiments, urging youths to view the differences between parties as strengths rather than barriers.
