SHAH ALAM - Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang claims that DAP is now plotting to gain political power in the nation by placing Malay candidates in Malay majority areas during the state elections.

The Marang MP said the party had a bad agenda against Islam, including challenging the position of the religion while also demeaning and disputing the rights of bumiputeras which marginalised the national language.

He said the unfortunate thing was its coalition partners such as PKR and Amanah were simply silence over the bad things done by the party.

"Statements were issued by its leaders who opposed the implementation of Islam (Islamic law) even though the implementation of it only applies to Muslims as per the Federal Constitution without forcing the non-Muslims.

"DAP openly opposed Islam and urged secularism to be enshrined in the Federal Constitution. This act misrepresents the position of Islam in the constitution as it is interpreted according to the colonial language," he said in a post on Facebook, today.

Hadi added that to balance the issue, Pas is now strengthening Malay politics by providing support and cooperation to unite various parties through Islam.

He said the main purpose of the party was to return the greatness of the nation's leadership with the agenda of leading in national unity.

"Malay relationship is an inseperable body with Islam and this has been a solid foundation towards re-establishing the historic Islamic leadership and successfully addressing the plural society," he said.
