SEREMBAN - Muda has yet to finalise their decision regarding strategies and seats contested in the upcoming State Elections.

Its deputy president Amira Aisya Abd Aziz said the discussions would be held with the party’s top leadership in facing the state elections.

She said whether Muda is contesting or not in the state elections it will be announced soon after the decision was finalised.

“The difference between the state elections and general election (GE) is that the state election is focused on giving the state the power.

“That’s why I along with several other top leaders want to discuss with the Muda state leaders regarding the direction towards state elections,” she said.

The Puteri Wangsa Assemblyman said the Johor division of the party has informed that Muda has yet to receive any answer regarding the application of joining the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition.

“I think many are informed of Muda’s situation in PH and no final answer has been given.

“On Muda’s level we are still open to discussions, but the priority to me is strengthening the party towards facing elections,” she said.
