KUALA LUMPUR - Barisan Nasional will hold a discussion tonight on the distribution of seats for the upcoming state elections, Umno president Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi said.

Zahid explained that the meeting which will be held at Menara Dato Onn, World Trade Centre (WTC) was to get the views from all the component parties on the allocation of seats that could be considered for them in the upcoming state elections.

"If we look at the new political reality, we have to look at the togetherness of all the component parties that are in this Madani government.

"Most of the parties are from the Peninsular, so the togetherness, understanding, and compatibility of all the parties is very important.
