'Lim Guan Eng also practiced racial politics' - Sanusi
ROSHILA MURNI ROSLIALOR SETAR - DAP chairman Lim Guan Eng does not need to urge Malaysians to lodge police reports towards Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang for allegedly practicing divisive, extremist and racial politics.
Pas Central Election director general Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor said it was due to Lim himself practicing racial politics.
He said the basis for the establishment of political parties in this country was based on race since the beginning.
“It can be proven when MIC was established by the Indians, MCA for the Chinese, Umno for Malays and Pas for Muslims.
“That’s basically it, DAP is a Chinese extremist party. Look at the 'Setapak Declaration' when it was formed in 1969 and that’s what DAP is.
“Don’t bother arguing as if he doesn’t practice racial politics. We’ve known him for a long time,” he said when met at the Bina Darulaman Berhad (BDB) Group Open House Ceremony here on Thursday.
Sanusi at the same time criticised Lim for urging Malaysians to lodge police reports against Hadi.
“Lim is urging the people to make police reports, political statements should be solved through politics by responding through a statement.
“That’s politics where it should be fought out in the political field - if he wants to solve matters through the police and courts, the no need to play politics," Sanusi said
Lim who is also the Bagan MP on Wednesday had urged Malaysians to lodge police reports en masse towards Hadi to end his divisive, extremist and racial politics.
Lim said the Pas leader’s political brand is threatening unity and national integration.
He described Hadi as someone who was desperate to interfere, damaging stability and destroying the unity government under Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s leadership by continuously openly targeting non-Muslims and non-Malays.
