Perlis PN prepared to aid Kedah in state election
ALOR SETAR - Perlis Perikatan Nasional (PN) is prepared to aid its political partners in Kedah in facing the state election soon.
Perlis PN chairman Mohd Shukri Ramli said he will help the Kedah election machinery and hoped that Kedah PN will achieve victory in all the seats contested.
The Perlis Menteri Besar said Perlis has been given seats in Kedah that must be looked after during the state election.
“We will carry out our duties as best as we can. For Arau, we'll take care of the Jitra state assembly, for Kangar, we will take care of Bukit Selambau.
“For the Padang Besar Parliament we will take care of the Ayer Hitam and Sanglang state assemblies, my own state assembly, Ayer Hangat, Langkawi,” he said in his speech during the Pas Central Aidilfitri Open House at the Kedah Pas Complex in Kota Sarang Semut here on Saturday.
Shukri said he will ensure Kedah and all states facing the elections will win and PN will govern the states.
In the same development Shukri thanked the people who gave the opportunity for PN to lead Perlis.
“We have learnt a lot from Kedah, Terengganu and Kelantan. Pray for us to remain (victorious) in Perlis,” he said.
