PUTRAJAYA - The government has assured civil servants that their salaries, which is perceived low, will be reviewed.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the review will focus on low and middle grade workers in the public sector.

“I know the pay of civil servants is not satisfactory (so) now is the time to review and evaluate it.

"This is my assurance and we will give our commitment," he said in his speech officiating the 2023 Labour Day Celebration at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) here on Sunday.

Also present were Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Human Resources Minister V Sivakumar, among others.
