Schools to shut if temperature hits above 37 degree Celsius for three days

The circular further said all outdoor activities involving students and teachers, such as cross-country events, camping, parades, sports and games outside of school buildings must be stopped.
"School closures due to hot weather must be immediately communicated by administrators to the registrar in writing and orally using any appropriate medium.
"Administrators must submit an official notification letter to the registrar on the closure if daily temperature reaches level two warning," it said.
School administrators must further ensure that the rooms in the school premises have good ventilation and are constantly monitored to avoid any health risk such as heat stroke.
Malaysia is presently experiencing a heat wave with weather experts stating that the temperature could hit 37 degree celsius. Two children aged 11 and 19 month old died this week due to heatstroke.
The health ministry has also confirmed that there are another two to three related cases to heatstroke.
