SHAH ALAM - Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s youngest son Norashman was engaged yesterday to his fiancée Nicola Mulyadi.

The news was shared by Umno supreme council member Datuk Mohd Puad Zarkashi on his Facebook page, yesterday (Saturday).

In the post, Puad wrote that he hoped that Najib who is currently serving time in jail, will be able to attend his son’s wedding.

He also described the engagement ceremony as “incomplete” without Najib’s presence.

“Ashman looked calm and cheerful. He is also excited because he and his fiancée Nicola will be visiting Najib in Kajang at 3pm (yesterday).

“Let’s pray that Najib will be able to attend the wedding ceremony of Ashman and Nicola," Puad wrote in the post.

The engagement ceremony was also attended by Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi and Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail.

Meanwhile, Umno supreme council member Datuk Johan Abd Aziz represented Nicola’s family while another Umno supreme council member, Datuk Wira Megat Zulkarnain Omardin represented Najib's family.
