KUALA LUMPUR - Traffic at major highways nationwide continue to be slow-moving, with no extraordinary congestion reported as of 10 pm today.

The Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) said that, for the east-bound journey, traffic was slow from the Gombak Toll Plaza to Bentong and before entering the Karak Toll Plaza, while traffic flow at the exit from the Kuala Terengganu Toll Plaza on the Pantai Timur Highway (LPT) 2, which was congested earlier in the evening, has returned to normal.

As for the northbound journey, it said traffic was moving slowly and showed improvement in several areas, such as from Slim River to Sungkai, Tapah to Gopeng and from the Menora Tunnel to Kuala Kangsar.

PLUS tweeted that an accident had occurred at Kilometre (km) 445 from Rawang Selatan to Rawang and KM 296.7 from Tapah to Gopeng, but none of the lanes is obstructed while traffic flow is under control.

For the southbound journey, traffic on the North-South Expressway (PLUS) around Senawang and Pedas Linggi is also reported to be slow-moving, probably due to an accident.
