Police seek public's help to find missing Ipoh girl

IPOH - The police are asking the public for assistance in locating an 18-year-old girl who has been reported missing since last April 10.

The girl known as Gayathri, whose address is at Jalan Pasir Puteh, was noticed missing by her father around 7am.

The family had searched for her, but she hadn't returned home until today, and her phone was not working.

Ipoh district police chief Assistant Commissioner Yahaya Hassan said they received the report of the girl's disappearance at Pasir Puteh Police Station on April 11.

"The public who know or have information about the missing teen's whereabouts can contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Rafidah Abdul Rashid at 013-7312477.

"Information can also be channelled by contacting Ipoh District Police Headquarters (IPD) at 05-2451500," he said in a statement on Wednesday.
